Cairo solidarity march with Russian plane victims on Wednesday

The Association of the Egyptian Graduates of Russian Universities organizes a solidarity march on Wednesday on the 40th day anniversary of the Russian plane crash in Sharm El Sheikh.

Representatives from governmental organizations, civil society and parties will participate in the march, according to a statement issued Tuesday by the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo.

During the 10-minute march from the Russian Cultural Center to the Russian embassy in Cairo, marchers will lay down wreaths at the commemorative plaque of the Russian victims.

Some 224 passengers died in the plane.
