Egypt condemned the terrorist attack which was carried out by Daesh group on Saturday targeting the shrine of the Sufi saint Shah Noorani, some 750 kilometers south of Quetta, the provincial capital of restive southern Balochistan province in Pakistan.
The assault left 52 persons dead and dozens injured.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement on Sunday that Egypt is supporting Pakistan in defiance against terrorism.
The blast hit a group of worshipers participating in a ceremony at the shrine.
