Egypt's Embassy in Lebanon on Saturday mourned with deep sorrow Egyptian national Mina Ashraf Wadie who drowned in the waters of Jeita Grotto.

In a press statement, the embassy urged media outlets not to be hasty in publishing news that harms the course of investigations.

The embassy trusts the justice of the Lebanese judiciary and stresses keenness on the lives of the Egyptian and Lebanese people, the statement added.

Wadie, 25, was waiting to have a tour through the caves when he fell into the water.
