Coptic Catholic Patriarch of Alexandria Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak has condemned a New Castle accident, in which a car ploughed into a group of Muslims while performing Eid prayers.
In a statement on Sunday, Sidrak expressed the church's solidarity with the injured and wished them a speedy recovery.
Six people, including three children, have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into Muslim worshipers gathering to celebrate Eid in Newcastle earlier in the day.
