Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, has condemned the assassination of the Governor of Aden in a terrorist attack on Sunday.
He described the assassination of the governor of Aden, Jafar Mohammad Saad, and six of his guards, as an appalling crime against all human and ethical principles and values.
The chief of the GCC stressed that the members of the GCC back any security measures being taken by Yemen to protect the safety of its citizens and residents.
He also offered his deep condolences to the government and people of Yemen and the families of the victims of the attack.
