Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad Al Jaber al Sabah sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the victims of Friday's terrorist attack on a security checkpoint in Giza's El Badrasheen area, the Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) reported.
In his cable, the Kuwaiti emir conveyed his sincere condolences to the president, condemning such terrorist acts that aim at undermining Egypt's peace and stability.
Kuwaiti Prime Minister and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber sent a similar cable to president Sisi.
Earlier in the day, five policemen were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a security checkpoint in El Badrasheen area, south of Cairo.
