His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has extended condolences to President of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno, over the recent terrorist attacks which took place at a market on the Chadian island of Loulou Fou leaving 27 dead and more than 80 others wounded.
In a telephone call, His Highness expressed his deep sympathies to the Chadian president over the victims of the criminal terrorist acts which targeted innocent civilians.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed stressed that the UAE stands with the friendly Republic of Chad and its efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
For his part, President of Chad thanked H.H. Sheikh Mohamed for showing sympathy with Chad and its people.
During the phone call, the two parties discussed friendship and cooperation relations and ways to enhance these relations in the service of common interests of the two countries and their peoples.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
