Fujairah: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday offered condolences to His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, on the death of Shaikh Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Fujiarah’s deputy ruler.
Shaikh Mohammad visited the mourning majlis at Al Rumaila Palace, where he also offered condolence to Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and the sons of the deceased.
Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation; Mohammad Ebrahem Al Shaibani, Director-General of Dubai Rulers Court and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of the Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department.
Earlier, Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi received a telephone call from Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, who offered his condolences.
Shaikh Hamad also received condolences from Syed Hamoud Bin Faisal Bin Saeed al Busaidy, Oman’s minister of interior, who conveyed condolences from Oman’s Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed.
Shaikh Hamad also received condolences from Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance; Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region; Lt. General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation, and chairman and chief executive of Emirates airline and Group, besides receiving condolences from other Shaikhs, senior officials and citizens.
