Palestine condemns Israeli decision to build 891 settlement units

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's approval to construct 891 settlement units in Gilo settlement, which was built on Bethlehem territory in the occupied West Bank, and 330 settlement units in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.

In a statement, of which MENA obtained a copy, the ministry also denounced Israel's confiscation of 680 dunams of Palestinian lands in Al Walaja, south of occupied East Jerusalem, for the construction of a new settlement.

The international community has to interfere now more than ever and before it becomes too late against the Israeli arrogance defying all laws and values, it added.
