Prime Minister Narendra Modi telephoned his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif to offer his "deep condolences" to the victims of the terror attack in Lahore, which has left at least 70 dead so far, mostly women and children.
Earlier in the day Modi condemned the blast on twitter, IBN reported.
"Heard about the blast in Lahore. I strongly condemn it. My condolences to families of the deceased and prayers with the injured," Modi tweeted.
At least 70 people, mostly women and children, enjoying Easter holiday at a popular public park, were killed and more than 300 injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore, the capital of Punjab province.
