Birth of a Museum Exhibition Paris - Arab Today Vincent Pomarede, General Curator and Director of the Painting Department at the Louvre Museum in Paris, said the exhibition Birth of a Museum, offers visitors to the Louvre Museum in Paris, an overview about the collections of Louvre Abu Dhabi, scheduled to open at the end of next year in the Cultural District of Saadiyat. The district also hosts both of the Zayed National Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. During the tour of Arab and Western media representatives this morning in the presence of Laurence des Cars, Director of the Orangerie Museum and Khalid Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, Assistant Curator for Birth of a Museum Exhibition, TCA Abu Dhabi, Pomarede, said the Louvre Abu Dhabi is specially designed world class museum to display works of art that carry exceptional aesthetic value. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Transport Department and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA) will visit the Louvre Museum on Tuesday, where the TCA organises an exhibition to showcase Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi historic collections, from May 2- July 28.
