Kober's work raises questions on world interaction Dubai - Arabstoday The gallery will exhibit the photo artist Bertram Kober with a selection from his "Carrara" series until January 9 at J+A Gallery in Dubai. The photo art will showcase the surrounding area of thefamous little Italian town and the dimension of the the stone quarry which is used over the past 3,000 years. It links marble as a material for art and design with a luxury product which is used all around the world as well as it raises questions how we interact in a world of mass consumption. Bertram Kober won the Venice Biennial photo competition 2011 and is co-founder of the "Neue Schule für Fotografie" in Berlin.
