HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari said the State of Qatar, due to the great support provided by the wise leadership, is witnessing a general development in all fields.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr. Al-Kuwari said the Qatari Majlis (place of hosting guests) was held as part of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which ended today in the French capital Paris, was held under a tent blending modernity and heritage and reflecting aspects of the progress and development seen in Qatar in all fields, noting that the event was held in Paris which is visited by millions of people from different cultural backgrounds.
This is an opportunity to showcase the Qatari culture, in addition to the connection of this event to cavalry which is one of the pillars of the Qatari and Arab heritage, also one of the ancient gains of the European peoples and a common denominator among peoples, Dr. Al-Kuwari said praising the great role played by Qatar's national companies in sponsoring this big event.
Dr. Al-Kuwari said culture is playing a complementary role in any sport, political or economic activities, pointing out that the cultural village which had been held over the past years, was changed this year into a Majlis. What had been displayed in the cultural village in the past and what is being displayed at the Majlis currently are progressing from one year to another and are building on the previous years' experiences, Dr. Al-Kuwari explained.
