American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) Ras Al Khaimah - Arab Today The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) and Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA) have signed a cooperation agreement under which qualifying AURAK students will be offered internships and full-time jobs at RAKIA and its investor companies. The initiative is the latest move by both parties to support nationalization goals for the Emirate. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Hamdan Alalkim, President of the University and Rino Sabatino, CEO of RAKIA. Starting in January 2016, the agreement will expand into a second phase that will see the launch of the RAKIA Scholarships Program. Under the new program RAKIA will sponsor part- or full-tuition scholarships of 15 national students studying at AURAK over the remaining period of the MoU. Source: WAM
