Deputy Minister of Education in Giza, Mohamed Abdul Hadi said that the Directorate of Education has completed the delivery of school books for second semester, although there was a little shortage in some books, which have not been received by the directorate so far, noting that this shortage is only 5% of total b=school books.
Abdul Hadi said, in an interview with Egypt Today, that there are some education departments in Giza that have received all the school books, adding that the students who did not come to receive their books before the start of the second semester, received their books during the semester. He asserted that he would not hesitate to meet the needs of students in Giza, and he works to solve any problem facing students.
Abdul Hadi pointed out that the maintenance operations of schools in the governorate of Giza have been completed during the mid-year vacation. He said that the state should build more schools, so as to cope with the annual increase of students, noting that the Prime Minister, Minister of Education and the governors have tasked the education directorates in various provinces to search for news lands to build schools.
He added that the directorate has already found 300 pieces of land, of which 107 pieces are suitable for building schools in Giza.
Abdul Hadi assured parents and students about the exams, refuting rumors about the leak of preparatory school exams, stressing that the second semester exams will start on time without delay.
