Filmmaker Mona Iraqi Al Aqssar - Mohamad al-Adissy Documentary filmmaker Mona Iraqi has left al-Aqssar after completing the filming of her documentary on education in Egypt and violence in schools. In her visit, she met with the infamous student whose hair was forcibly cut by her teacher. She also interviewed head of the teacher's union league and a student who suffered from a broken hand by her teacher. It was reported that the director also met with students who were raped in schools in Aswan. Mona Iraqi is a documentary filmmaker and investigative journalist. She started off as a reporter for Sudanese television and produced and directed her first film: "Somaila Land of Evil Spirits" and won various international awards. Some of her other films include: "Jumaa al-Raheel", "Tabaq al-Thiyaba" and "Masnaa Baltajiya"
