Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi has asserted that the Gulf Radio and Television Organisation (GRTO) is a pioneering media establishment of which GCC states are proud.
He lauded the key role played by GRTO in consolidating cooperation among GCC radio and Television Corporation for the sake of serving the joint GCC media action.
This came as he received here today the Director-General of the Gulf Radio and Television Orgnisation Abdulla Abo Ras
The Minister praised the efforts exerted by Dr. Abdulla Abu Ras to upgrade GRTO, as well as his role in organising the Gulf Radio and TV Festival aiming to develop radio and TV production.
He reviewed with Dr. Abo Ras ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Information Affairs, as well as ways to take advantage of GRTO’s expertise in the fields of training and TV and radio production.
The Minister wished Dr. Abo Ras and GRTO affiliates every success in achieving their media goals.
