Muslim cleric Ghaleb Rababa
Amman - Iman Abu Kaoud

Muslim cleric Ghaleb Rababa Amman - Iman Abu Kaoud A Muslim scholar from Jordan has urged families to turn off the internet during Ramadan, claiming it would distract Muslims from worship during the holy month. Ghaleb Rababa made the plea during his Friday sermon in Amman. The cleric described the world wide web as "the work of the devil." He also told Muslims from watching television dramas or spending time in coffee shops during the fasting month. Rababa called for unity among Muslim nations ahead of "the blessed month," and also condemned the recent violence at the University of Jordan.
