The head of the Kuwaiti delegation to the Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation council, Mohamed Al-Sagger, said investment in Sinai will be on top of the agenda of the first forum between both countries.
The first Egyptian-Kuwaiti forum is expected to be held on November 7 in Kuwait.
In statements to MENA on Saturday, Al-Sagger said most investors from the Gulf tend to invest in Egypt’s real estate sector in line with the development witnessed over the past years.
In this regard, Al-Sagger called on the Egyptian government to shed more light on investment opportunities in Sinai, especially that security conditions are getting better there.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation forum will be held under the auspices of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who is also set to attend the event.
