Besiktas moved within a point of Turkish Super Lig leaders Galatasaray tonight with a 4-1 win away at Manisaspor. Goals from Ricardo Quaresma (32), Mustafa Pektemek (44) and Tomas Sivok (52) put the visitors in control, and although Murat Erdogan reduced the deficit in the 56th minute, Manuel Fernandes ended any hopes of a comeback with the fourth for Besiktas in the 79th minute. Sivasspor and Kayserispor remain locked together in midtable after both clubs also enjoyed away wins. Sivasspor trailed to Miguel Garcia's 29th-minute goal at Orduspor, but hit back quickly through Mehmet Nas (32) and an own goal from Tobias Nickenig in the 36th minute to claim all three points. Kayserispor won 1-0 at Samsunspor thanks to a second-minute goal from James Troisi. And, Ankaragucu remain adrift at the bottom of the table after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Bursaspor, while the evening's other game between Istanbul Buyuksehir and Mersin Idmanyurdu also ended goalless.
