Besiktas climbed three places to third in the Super Lig table with a 2-1 win over Orduspor at the Inonu Stadium on Monday. Veli Kavlak's 37th-minute goal put the Black Eagles in front, but Juan Culio levelled for the visitors in the 66th minute. Carlos Carvalhal's side were not to be denied, though, and Fabian Ernst grabbed a winner after 71 minutes to move them above Manisaspor. They moved to four points behind league leaders Fenerbahce and one adrift of Galatasaray. For Orduspor it was a third consecutive Super Lig defeat and they slipped to ninth in the table.
