Swansea City tied Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson to a new four-year contract, the Welsh club announced on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old midfielder had drawn interest from several clubs after helping Iceland make a surprise run to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016.
However, he decided to put pen to paper on a new deal that keeps him at the Liberty Stadium until June 2020. Sigurdsson scored 11 goals last season as Swansea finished 12th in the Premier League.
