Jiangsu Suning ties Guangzhou R&F 1-1 in Chinese Super League

Jiangsu Suning was held to a 1-1 draw by Guangzhou R&F in the sixth round of 2015 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Lu Lin' s shot was blocked by Jiangsu' s goalkeeper Gu Chao but Guangzhou' s substitute Zeng Chao collected the ball and completed the scoring in the 81st minute. In the stoppage time, Jiangsu was awarded a penalty kick for Fu Yunlong' s handball. Joao Alves scored the penalty and helped the League leaders tie Guangzhou 1-1.

Elsewhere, Beijing Guoan ended with a 0-0 draw with Liaoning Whowin at home although Burak Yilmaz created several solid chances. The newcomer Yanbian lost to Henan Jianye 2-1 while Eddi Gomes and Javier Patino scored for Henan in 13th and 68th minute respectively.

In another game played on Friday, Hangzhou Greentown tied Chongqing Lifan 1-1 at home while the host team failed to earn a victory in five League games.
