Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal confirmed today that he has commited himself to the Scottish Premier League club until the summer of 2015. The 23-year-old Israeli has been in negotiations for a number of months after looking to improve his terms following an impressive debut season. "I'm very happy to sign this new contract with Celtic. I came to Celtic last season and I've enjoyed it very much," said Kayal, who arrived from Maccabi Haifa in 2010. "I feel at home here and I want to be at the club for a long time," he said. "The fans have been magnificent and I want to thank them all for their support. I will do everything for the club and the manager to achieve success." Kayal has made 40 appearances for Celtic, scoring two goals, and was one of their key players last season despite missing much of the campaign through injury. But he fractured his wrist in the 3-2 defeat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle that cost Celtic the title in May, and missed the Scottish Cup final win over Motherwell.
