FC Porto were held to a goalless draw away at Olhanense tonight, leaving them just one point clear at the top of the table with Benfica set to play Braga tomorrow. Maritimo also took advantage of the result to move within three points of Porto in third place, beating Academica 3-2. However, they made hard work of it, surrendering a two-goal advantage built by first-half strikes from Papa Baba Diawara and Leocisio Sami as Hugo Morais and Fabio Luis scored either side of the interval to level it. Diawara scored a second, though, just two minutes after Luis' equaliser to seal the win as the visitors finished with ten men after Ba Abdoulaye was shown a late red card.
