Former England Under-21 midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker has completed his move to Bolton Wanderers, the English Premier League club announced on Wednesday. The 27-year-old, who began his career at Wimbledon before heading to West Ham, was a free agent since the end of last season when his contract with Aston Villa expired. "We are delighted to have signed Nigel," Trotters' coach Owen Coyle told the club website. "He's got quality, drive and desire to compete at the highest level in the Premier League." Reo-Coker, whose form last season saw then Villa coach Gerard Houllier hand him the captain's armband, has signed a two-year contract with Bolton. "I spoke with the coach and he outlined his plans and how he wants the club to progress," said Reo-Coker who is expected to play in Bolton's frendly against Bury on Wednesday. "I want to be part of that and I'm looking forward to meeting up with the lads and getting to work."
