London - Arabstoday

Trabzonspor A? slipped to third place in Group B with defeat at PFC CSKA Moskva last time out although coach ?enol Güne? remains confident of a restorative result when the Russian side visit Turkey, with visiting coach Leonid Slutski wary of the home side's attacking prowess. Trabzonspor Coach ?enol Güne? We expected a better result in Moscow than a 3-0 defeat; we started well but the first goal had a negative effect on us. Now they have the advantage so this match is very important for both teams. If we win it'll put us in a very good position, we know that. "We want to play well and we have the enthusiasm, talent and courage to do that, as well as good home fans". We have to be patient. CSKA have effective players in attack but so do we. We want our fans to support us from beginning to end. If we get a good result, we'd have a 60% chance of getting into the next round. Tomorrow will be a historic night for Trabzonspor and we want to send CSKA home with no points. Having everyone available is a definite advantage; it gives us a good chance to make tactical changes during the match. In the last match we had difficulties in attack because we were missing some players. Weekend result Saturday: Gaziantepspor 0–1 Trabzonspor (Halil Alt?ntop 90) Tolga; ?el?stka, G?owacki, Kaçar, ?ech; Serkan, Colman, Aykut Akgün; Mierzejewski (Paulo Henrique 78); Halil Alt?ntop, Bro?ek (Alanzinho 64) • Without the unwell Burak Y?lmaz, who has contributed 11 of their 14 league goals this term, Trabzonspor ended a run of three games without a win thanks to Halil Alt?ntop's first goal for the club. Team news Burak did not feature against Gaziantepspor because of a cold, though Paulo Henrique was a substitute following knee surgery. Ond?ej ?el?stka started on his return from a minor knock, while Tayfun Cora and Onur K?vrak, yet to feature this season because of cruciate ligament problems, were both on the bench. Róbert Vittek (torn knee ligaments, sidelined since 17 September) and Bar?? Ata? (torn hamstring, 2 September) are out of action, although the latter has resumed training. CSKA Coach Leonid Slutski In the first match against Trabzonspor we faced some problems as they were dangerous on the attack but we'll watch out for that. We have more players missing than Trabzonspor so they'll push us hard but we have to solve this with teamwork. It's always an advantage to play at home with the crowd on your side; we had that in Moscow and now it's Trabzonspor's turn. Remember, though, that we played an exciting match against Be?ikta? in Istanbul; the spectators were amazing and I'm sure Trabzonspor fans will be the same tomorrow night. It's important to enjoy the match. We won't pay special attention to any Trabzonspor players; instead we have to work as a team. This is a very important match and we'll have to do our best. "The winners will have seven points; that wouldn't finish anything but with that you can see yourself in the next round or in the Europa League". We must make sure we make fewer mistakes; if we can do that, we believe we can win here. Weekend result Friday: CSKA 4-0 PFC Spartak Nalchik (Love 34, Doumbia 83 90+1 90+3) Gabulov; Schennikov (Nababkin 87), Ignashevich, A Berezutski, V Berezutski; Aldonin, Mamaev (Šemberas 70), Dzagoev, Toši? (Cau?a 68); Doumbia, Love • Seydou Doumbia struck an 11-minute hat-trick – his second successive three-goal haul – as CSKA remained two points behind Premier-Liga leaders FC Zenit St Petersburg despite Sergei Ignashevich missing a penalty on ten minutes and Vágner Love being sent off (74). Team news Igor Akinfeev (cruciate ligaments) and Keisuke Honda (knee) are long-term absentees. Georgi Schennikov (ankle) is back, while Viktor Vasin is also available again following a cruciate ligament injury but is yet to make his competitive debut for CSKA. Kirill Nababkin is fit following a shoulder injury, though Sekou Oliseh has been absent with a hamstring problem. Mark González (hip, out since April) and Tomáš Necid (knee, out since June) will miss the rest of the group stage. Match fact While Trabzonspor had not faced a Russian team before matchday three, CSKA only have to go back two seasons for their last fixture against Turkish opponents, beating Be?ikta? 2-1 home and away in the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League group stage.
