Strike duo Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan gave Uruguay a 2-0 half-time lead over Paraguay in the Copa America final on Sunday as their team chased a record 15th continental title. Liverpool star Suarez opened the scoring in the 12th minute when his drive took a deflection off Dario Veron and left goalkeeper Justo Villar wrong-footed. Former Manchester United striker Forlan added the second three minutes from the interval when Egidio Arevalo cleverly intercepted the ball to release the Atletico Madrid attacker who confidently buried a left-footed strike. It was Forlan's 30th international goal, but first in 13 matches.
