The 19th edition of the Men's Arab Volleyball Championship with participation of 10 teams will kick off here on Thursday and run until December 6 at Al-Qadisiyah Club.
The tournament is expected to witness strong and enthusiastic competitions among the contesting teams which include professionals.
According to the draw, Group A incudes Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Palestine and Algeria, while Group B features Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Libya.
Tomorrow's first game will be between Egypt and Algeria after launching the opening ceremony.
The Kuwaiti national team seeks to snatch the three points in the first game to secure an early berth in next rounds.
The line-up of Kuwaiti team features Abdullah Jassim, Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, Amer Al-Saleem, Zaid Al-Kadhmi, Saad Saleh, Bader Jawhar, Nasser Dashti, Abdullah Ali, Mohammad Al-Banna, Abdulah Boftain, Mishal Al-Omar, Abdulaziz Shaker and Yaqoub bin Eid.
Tunisia's national team, which does not participate in this edition, won the title seven times, Algeria got it three times and Egypt and Kuwait won the championship just once.
