Tunisia ranked second at the medal table of the African Swimming Championships (all categories), held on September 10-16 in Nairobi, Kenya, totaling 17 medals (4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze). South Africa topped standings (29 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze), while Egypt ranked third (3 gold, 13 silver and 14 bronze.) During the last day event on Sunday, Taki Mrabet won a gold medal of the 200m medley clocking 2:05.11, while the men's relay team were awarded the silver medal of the 400m medley (3:53.49). The first three gold medals had been the performance of Taki Mrabet in the 200m breaststroke and 200m backstroke and Wassim Elloumi in the 100m breaststroke.
