Al-Sha'ab and Al-Emirates shared the points from a rollercoaster 3-3 draw at the wrong end of the UAE Gulf League on Friday night. Michael N'Dri struck first from the penalty spot as Al-Sha'ab took a 16th-minute lead, but another penalty brought the visitors level three minutes into the second half. It remained 1-1 until the late stages when a rush of goals swung the match in either direction. First, Al'Sha'ab regained the lead with a 77th minute goal from Mohamed Malallah, but Alves Da Silva and German Herrera scored two in the space of four minutes to propel Al-Emirates into a 3-2 lead. But there was another twist in the tail as N'Dri scored two minutes from time to earn a share of the spoils. The result keeps Al-Sha'ab two points from the foot of the table with Al-Emirates six points and two places better off. Makhete Diop scored twice from the penalty spot as Al-Dhafra beat Al-Wasl 3-1. Jose Rogerio opened the scoring after ten minutes before Diop converted from the spot in the 21st and 53rd minutes. Mohammed Nasser got a 74th minute goal back for Al-Wasl. Ibrahima Toure's 43rd-minute goal gave Al-Nasr a 1-0 home win over Al-Ain, while Ahmed Khamis struck in the 43rd minute to cancel out Sebastian Tagliabue's early opener as Al Wahda and Sharjah drew 1-1.
