The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) organised a practice race aimed to preparing the horses that will participate in the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies' World Championship Endurance Race, for a distance of 90 km, which will be held next Saturday.
The practice race held under the guidance of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, where a number of horses’ owners participated in order to ensure success, especially in the main event to be held next Saturday.
This race came to secure all the success to host the World Championship which will be held in Bahrain for the first time. BREEF President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa is also playing a prominent role in following up all the procedures carried out by the committees to achieve the best success to host this big event.
The practice race was held for a long distance of 30km. It was organised to choose the horses that will compete in the main event and to confirm the seriousness of BREEF to achieve the best success in hosting the world championship, and to contribute effectively to the success of the race and to highlight the civilized face of Bahrain when hosting various International events.
