Al Jazeera climbed to second in the UAE League with a 4-2 victory over Al Wahda on Thursday. Lucas Neill put the hosts ahead four minutes into the second half, but Fernando Baiano replied for Al Wahda a minute later and Hugo then gave the visitors the lead with 18 minutes to go. However, goals from Ali Mabkhout and Bare along with Matias Delgado's penalty saw Al Jazeera move to within four points of leaders Al Ain. Elsewhere, Al Wasl lost 2-1 at home to Dubai SC, Abubaker Kamara's 36th-minute goal settling the contest after Juan Oliveira had cancelled out Ahmed Abbas' opener. Finally, Al Ahly Dubai triumphed 3-1 at Bani Yas. Majed Hassan put Al Ahly in front after four minutes and, although Yousef Jaber equalised in the 23rd minute, Ismail Al Hammadi and Grafite netted to secure an away win.
