Dar Kulaib volleyball team have stepped up their preparations for the 30th Arab Clubs Championship starting on Saturday in Beirut. The Bahraini representatives will play in five-team Group 'B', featuring Al Rayyan of Qatar, Al Sadaqa Gaza of Palestine, Ittihad Tanja of Morocco and Ahli Tarabulus of Libya, this was published at GDN. Coached by Ebrahim Ali, Dar Kulaib are scheduled to begin their campaign on Friday against Ahli Tarabulus. Later they encounter group favourites Al Rayyan on Saturday. After a two-day break, Dar Kulaib play their third game in the tournament against Ittihad Tanja on Tuesday, and then take on Al Sadaqa Gaza in their concluding group match on February 22. Dar Kulaib have been boosted by the signing of Brazilian professional De Sezar from Busaiteen Club just for the tournament, where the Bahraini club will be looking to claim a podium finish. The team in violet jerseys will also pin their hopes on their national team trio - Mirza Abdulla, playmaker Mahmood Hassan and libero Ayman Haroona.
