As part of a series of field inspection visits sports facilities, the General Organization of Youth and Sports (GOYS) Chairman Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowder paid an inspection visit to the Disabled Persons Gym Hall in Isa Town.
During the visit, GOYS President met the Bahrain Disabled Association's Deputy Chairman Jasim Salman Al Sindi and the Association's Technical Director Captain Sabah Al-Thawadi. They briefed him in detail about the Association's needs pertaining to the gym hall and maintenance operations in order to ensure perfect atmospheres for the Association's members and its national teams to training and prepare in the required distinctive manner so as to achieve more accomplishments for the sports movement in the Kingdom.
Hesham Al Jowder toured all facilities of the Gym Hall and instructed the Department of Facilities and Projects to essentially conduct the necessary maintenance operation as soon as possible as per the Association's requirements and he also instructed the Association to communicate with the SYCS's Board of Directors regarding requisition of the necessary maintenance for the grounds of the gym hall and its facilities.
Al Jowder emphasized the GOYS keenness on the maintenance of sports facilities all over the Kingdom in compliance with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), and to preserve these facilities which considered national assets of Bahrain, at the same time praising the constant follow-up of Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS).
