Kuwait dominated the races at the Bahrain drag racing championship which concluded recently, winning five out of nine races at the automotive division while taking the bikes category by storm dominating all races, said a statement by the Basel Al-Sabah Automotive and Bike Racing Club Saturday.
In the automotive division, Kuwait's Turki Al-Humaidi came in first position after winning the "pro-mod" competition, a feat repeated by Abdulwahab Al-Salim in the "outlaw" race, said the statement.
Kuwait's Salem Al-Timmimi won the "index-4.5" contest while compatriot Abdullah Khudada took on the first place in the "super street" division. The "index 10.5" race was won by Suleiman Al-Uraier.
Meanwhile, the bikes division, Kuwait dominated the three bike races, winning the "pro-bike", "super-street bike" and "street bike competitions.
