Angel Mazon and Rikeetha Pereira helped themselves to titles in the girls under-12 and under-14 categories respectively at the second KEF Tennis Challenge held at the Ajman Kempinski courts earlier this week. Mazon battled past Anaya Singh in three sets for more than two hours before winning 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 for the girls' under-12 title, while Pereira had an easier outing, winning 6-1, 6-1 against Rai Sen Gupta in the girls' under-14 class. Meanwhile, Karim Najia justified his boys' under-14 top ranking by easing past Mujahid Ali Khan 6-2, 7-5. Faisal KE, chairman of the KEF Company, was the chief guest and presented the trophies to the winners. The next tournament on the development circuit will be held later this week. The KEF Tennis Challenge is a series of tournaments being played in Ajman as part of the UAE Junior Development Series.
