Alan Salem and Soumaya Argui scored a round of net 66 to claim the third qualifying round of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge at the Els Golf Club. The tournament hosted around 50 teams and more than 100 players. It witnessed a number of different events, highlighting the competition's popularity throughout the Middle East. Grand finale Their victory means Salem and Argui will now have the opportunity to compete in the grand finale on April 26 at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. Bayer Khan and Tehzun Sura followed closely in second place, with Paul Barbone and Tony Billingham in third. During the course of the tournament, there were a number of other winners, including Richard Mylrea, Jonathan Mellor, Allan Campbell and Rhonda Headon, who all won various Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin prizes sponsored by ECCO.
