Australian wing Blair Connor has extended his contract with French Top 14 side Bordeaux-Begles for another five years, club president Laurent Marti confirmed on Sunday.
Connor, who will be 27 later this month, has become a "symbol for the club" since joining in 2010 when Bordeaux were in the French second tier Pro D2, Marti said.
The new deal will see him remain in western France until 2021.
The former Australian youth international, who can play centre or wing, played three seasons for Queensland Reds before joining Bordeaux where he has competed in 27 matches in Pro D2 and 94 in the Top 14 with 28 tries scored.
