Egypt on Friday topped Group A of the 2016 African Men's Handball Championship after an easy win on Nigeria 34-20.
The Egyptian team dominated the game with a strong performance as they won the first half 16-9.
Egypt had defeated Algeria 22-18 in the opener Thursday and will play Cameroon later Saturday.
The 2016 African Men's Handball Championship is the 22nd edition of the championship and held in Egypt from 21–30 January 2016.
It acts as the African qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2017 World Men's Handball Championship.
