Ajinkya Rahane of India set a new world fielding record when he took eight catches in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle on Friday.
Rahane grabbed three catches in the first innings and five more in the second to surpass five fielders, excluding wicket-keepers, who had all taken seven catches in a Test.
