Perak head coach Mehmet Durakovic admitted that his team would face a tough mission after a 0-0 draw against PKNS FC in the Malaysia Cup first-leg quarterfinal at the Perak Stadium here last night.
Even though the team had launched multiple attacks and dominated the whole game, he said the players failed to translate it into scores, Malaysia's National News Agency (Bernama) reported.
"We did everything except for scoring. We dominated the game from the start to finish. We should have scored during one or two chances.
"Whatever it is, we have to win the second leg in Shah Alam to qualify for the semifinal," he told a press conference after the match.
Perak will face PKNS FC in the second-leg quarterfinal match, scheduled for Sunday at the Shah Alam Stadium.
