FC Barcelona striker Neymar has ruled out any possibility of joining Manchester United in the near future.
The Brazilian striker, who is in his third campaign with the Spanish and European Champions, had been the subject of speculation in the English press over the past week, with stories that Manchester United were preparing an incredible deal worth around 400 million U.S. dollars to take him to England and meet his conditions.
However, speaking in the wake of his side's 1-0 win at home to Malaga on Saturday night, Neymar was very clear about where his thoughts lie.
"Obviously I want to continue with Barcelona no matter how many mulitimillion (pound) offers might come my way from England," said the Brazilian.
"I feel very happy here and I am not listen to any of the stories that I am told, so everyone can relax," he added, happy that he had finally shaken off a case of mumps which had sidelined him in the start to the season.
"I am very happy to be able to be able to play again and to be useful for my team and I was surprised I was able to last as long as I did on the pitch (86 minutes)," commented the striker, who was optimistic over Barcelona's options for the season.
"We want to win important points and bit by bit, we aim to get up to speed. I think we can have a great season, because what we all want to do is win titles," he said.
