U.S. heavyweight boxer Cedric "The Boz" Boswell has signed a contract to take on world WBA champion Alexander Povetkin from Russia in December, the Polish boxingnews.pl portal published on Saturday. Povetkin took the vacant World Boxing Association heavyweight title on a unanimous points decision in Erfurt, Germany, on August 27 in a bout against Ruslan Chagaev from Uzbekistan. Povetkin, 32, with 22 wins and 15 knockouts, will take on Boswell, 42, with 35 wins and 26 knockouts, in Helsinki on December 3.
