World No. 1 Yani Tseng is ruling women's golf with seven LPGA titles in 2011, the latest a win in her native Taiwan. Tseng, 22, won the inaugural Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship by five strokes. Tournament festivities kicked off last week with Tseng being given the award as Player of the Year. She showed the rest of the week how appropriate it was. She shot 16-under 272 for the tournament. In addition to the seven LPGA championships, which include a pair of major tournaments, Tseng has won three events on other tours. Other signs of her domination: Tseng has won $2.87 million this year, Cristie Kerr is No. 2 on the money list at $1.42 million; in 20 LPGA tournaments, Tseng has finished in the Top 10 13 times; Tseng's average score is 69.38; Kerr is second at 70.58. Tseng has been ranked No. 1 for 36 weeks and, with a ranking points average of 18.26, will stay there a while. Suzann Pettersen is second at 11.07 and Kerr comes in third at 10.75 with Choi No-yeon (10.21) at No. 4. Ahn Sun-ju (8.82) remains ranked fifth and Jiyai Shin (8.43) is sixth. Paula Creamer (7.84) moves from ninth to No. 7 with Ai Miyazato (7.37) and Brittany Lincicome (7.21) both down one spot to eighth and ninth, respectively. Stacy Lewis (7.16) is No. 10.
