Sergio Aguero will be hoping to land his first Etihad Player of the Month award after a stunning contribution to the team during February - but he's not alone. With City winning five on the bounce, it has been a difficult month to shortlist only five players when so many have contributed positively. However, the following five are all up for the Etihad prize: Sergio Aguero: A fantastic month for the idol of the City fans. Sergio scored four goals and made two goals for his team-mates as he hit peak form at exactly the right time as the Blues begin the run-in that everyone hopes will end with the Premier League title in May. The brilliant Argentine has never won the award before – so could this be his first? Joleon Lescott: Fast becoming a firm favourite with supporters, Lescott topped an impressive month off with a crucial winning goal away to Aston Villa. He was also part of a defence that conceded just one goal in five games and was deservedly called up into the England squad to face Holland. David Silva: An almost permanent fixture on the Etihad Player of the Month list, Silva has been back to his very best in the past month – he was merely excellent last month – and has been at the heart of the Blues’ 100% winning record in February. With three more assists, could he be set to land the prize for February? Vincent Kompany: The skipper is back and has been outstanding in February. Powerful, committed and inspirational, Kompany has also shown some lovely flicks and feints on his forays up-field. Could the captain earn your vote for driving the team towards glory? Yaya Toure: A late entrant as he missed the first two games of February while away with the Ivory Coast. His return couldn’t have been timed any better and he was superb in both legs against Porto and again in the 3-0 win over Blackburn. Three assists, three wins – welcome home Yaya!
