UAE athlete, Alia Saeed, has won her second gold medal in the 10,000-metre race following her 5,000 m gold medal win during the 30th Arab Athletics Championship in Tunis.
Saeed completed the race with a time of 38.53.31 minutes amid fierce competition from Moroccan runners Amina Taheri and Hanan Kluge, who took the silver and bronze medals at 39.18.15 and 39.51.48 minutes respectively.
UAE athletes Saud Al Zaabi and Maayouf Hassan will compete in the 800 metres race alongside competitors from Algeria, Kuwait, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, Djibouti and Sudan.
