Real Madrid's Marcelo is back in contention to feature in Saturday's city derby against Atletico Madrid at the Bernabeu. The 23-year-old full-back has been out for the last three weeks with a thigh strain but he was at the Valdebebas training ground on Thursday morning as preparations resumed ahead of the Primera Division clash. Madrid coach Jose Mourinho put his men through wing play and shooting exercises, a suggestion his side are set to continue their attacking ways at the weekend. A number of players who started in Tuesday's 6-2 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb had a lighter workout, according to the club's official website. Kick-off against Atletico is at 19.45GMT. Real Madrid currently top the Liga standings, three points above Barcelona.
