Both Germany and Bayern Munich will be without vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger for several weeks after the midfield star broke his collarbone on Wednesday. The 27-year-old was stretchered off after 53 minutes of Bayern's 3-2 home win over Napoli in the Champions League and is expected to undergo an operation on Thursday. The injury rules Schweinsteiger out of Germany's friendly against Euro 2012 co-hosts Ukraine in Kiev on Friday November 11 and against the Netherlands in Hamburg four days later. "Of course, he will be missed as he is an important part of our midfield and was in great shape," admitted Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes after the win over Napoli. Heynckes refused to say how long Schweinsteiger will be out for.
