San Fransisco - Upi

Bryan Stow, the Giants fan beaten during the season opener at Dodger Stadium, has been moved into a rehab facility, a San Francisco hospital said Tuesday.San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, where Stow has been a patient for five months, said in a statement his family did not want his destination to become public at the moment, CNN reported. The hospital said his family wants him to be able to "settle in."Two Los Angeles-area men have been charged with administering a vicious beating in a parking lot at Dodger Stadium after the March 31 game.Stow suffered severe head injury and was in a coma for weeks. He was transferred to the San Francisco hospital about six weeks after the attack."Bryan has been an extremely challenging patient," Dr. Geoff Manley, the chief of neurosurgery and head of Stow's care team in San Francisco, said."It has been a roller coaster, but he is young and strong and has made tremendous advances," Manley said. "To get this far, it was vital that he be at a place that specializes in acute care for brain-injured patients. Now it is equally important that he receive care from a place that specializes in rehabilitation for patients with brain injuries."
